Proposals for the remainder of the site

The proposed housing area must respond positively to the surrounding context, maximising the amenity of the quality mature trees and the River Gade setting. Streets will be designed to be outward-looking, maximising the benefits to the pedestrian and creating a safe, welcoming environment.

Below are four proposals for residential development of the remainder of the site, but with different options for the block at the south-east corner. Here, the options are a hotel, some kind of drive-thru fast food franchise, apartments or small-scale residential. There is an area on the questionnaire for you to express your views on which option you feel would be more appropriate.
